Remember how I'm on a fall kick? Well, here is a treat that I haven't had for quite some time. These are baked apple cider donuts so they aren't quite the same as the donuts you get when apple picking but they still were pretty good.
I used this recipe and replaced the flour with wheat-free all purpose flour and since I don't own a donut pan, I piped mini donuts out (and didn't make the hole big enough). Despite my donuts looking nothing like the ones on the site, these still tasted great. I may try to make non-baked ones next to get a little closer to the real deal, but these definitely helped with my fall fix.
