Living Room Fall Decor

I'm on a BIG fall kick right now. This is the third fall in a row without apple picking, cool weather and pretty fall leaves and it's wearing on me this year more than the previous two. To get over my funk of missing out on fall, I've been filling my free time decorating, cooking and doing pretty much anything I can to make it feel more like fall around here.

I like decorating for fall instead of specifically Halloween or Thanksgiving since it lasts longer and requires less effort. I went a little cheerier this year with some bright flowers and this awesome pic my sis took.

I also kept my mirror right where it was and hung a wreath I made awhile back over it. Then I just placed a few fallish items around and was done.

This year I also put a few things by the TV. Nothing big, just a few things to make it feel a bit more festive.

I really like creatively decorating our chandelier as well, but I haven't quite decided what I want to do with it this year so you'll have to stay tuned to see what I do with that. In the mean time, I'm ecstatic to report that we've had the a/c off for 3 days and I'm currently enjoying a nice cool breeze and fresh smelling air (at 11 pm... I'll take what I can get).

What is your favorite fall thing?
