K is for Kitchen

This week is going to be dedicated to our kitchen. We haven't done any huge renovations yet, but it has gotten a bit of an upgrade.

Our big Black Friday purchase was a new dishwasher. We got a really great deal on a stainless steel outside as well as stainless steel inside dishwasher with all the bells and whistles we were looking for. We were finally able to pick it up from the store the middle of last week and we lost no time getting it installed. (we actually did lose a little time since a required part didn't actually come with it, but it got installed by the next day). To remind you what it looked like before here is this:

Now our white dishwasher that wasn't actually washing anything has been upgraded to this:

It looks so much better and the great thing is that our dishes are actually getting cleaned! The buttons being on the top of the door is a little awkward for now since our countertops don't really extend at all past the base of the cabinets but as soon as we replace those it will fit perfectly.

From this picture you may notice something else that has been upgraded but that is for another day. For today we will just let the the dishwasher shine on its own.
