After living in Boston for three years, you kind of get used to paying through the nose to go to a game at Fenway. So when we got down to Fl, we just assumed that going to a Rays game would be just as expensive. When Court and Jess were visiting, we decided to check it out to see how far back a game would put us.
To our surprise, the cheap tickets were a shocking $12. We decided to take advantage of being in St. Pete and enjoy some baseball at a great price.
The Tropicana field is honestly the cleanest stadium I have ever been in. Since it rains a lot in Fl around normal game times, it is covered and temperature controlled. They even have a Gluten Free booth!
We definitely had the cheapest tickets, but we had a great view!
The stadium was really steep so that everyone could see. We were so far up that I felt like I was going to fall down the whole thing... luckily I didn't.
Oh and it took a cross country move, but we can now root for Johnny Damon again!
The Rays won and despite a very chilly baseball experience ( we were right by the A/C vents) we had a lot of fun and we're looking forward to going to a lot more games!
