Wednesdays with Will: September Phone Pics

To keep me slightly more organized, I'm going to start posting any Will related stuff on Wednesdays. It's a good alliteration so I will hopefully remember and some cuteness in the middle of the can make anyone happier right? So, today I'm posting all the random phone pics I've taken of Will for the month of September.

We have an annual aquarium pass which comes with "swaptember" free passes to the zoo and to the science museum, MOSI. We saw this as a great opportunity to see what pass we would try and get next year so a few weeks ago we took Will to MOSI.

There were a few sections that were interesting to an almost 6 month old (aka the water funnel) but overall Nate and I were underwhelmed with the exhibits. It seemed perfect for a kid at least 3 years old though. In other words, we won't be purchasing annual passes to MOSI for a couple of years. I do like in these pics how you can see how red Will's hair looks in certain light.

We've also been working on a lot of projects around the house which translates into a lot of trips to Lowes. On our last trip, I picked up a couple of pool noodles for ... the pool, and Will decided that the blue one was his new favorite toy.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before but the squeak sound of styrofoam is my least favorite sound in the world. It turns out that 6 month olds holding a styrofoam noodle are really talented at producing that noise so I let him play with it for as long as my ears could handle it and then the noodle got hidden in the other cart (yes we have multiple carts when we go to Lowes).

Finally, here are just some random cute pics. The first one is from the beginning of the month when sitting still required a multitude of pillows for the occasional fall. The last one shows the reduction in pillows to just the boppy by the end of the month. Will will occasionally still fall over, but only when he clearly isn't focusing on balancing.

The second photo is from when Will had his cold and had to be propped on his side to let stuff drain. It's also proof that he will now sleep without a swaddle. He actually now sleeps like this without being propped. You lie him down and he immediately rolls to his side. The third photo is right after bath time. The towel is from my cousins and it is the cutest thing ever. It has paws and a tail with the hood being the head of the dog. It's now a daily use item in our house.

So that's what my phone pics looked like for September. I love the fact that I always have a camera with me but I tend to organize these pics a lot less than my regular pics. Does anyone else have that problem?
