We've recently learned a few new words in dog. Apparently, "my new body pillow which is the only thing that makes my hips feel better" directly translates for Madeline to "my insanely awesome new pillow that Cassandra gets to borrow every once in awhile".
This is Madeline's new favorite spot (Zoe also frequents it until Madeline kicks her out aka sits on her face) and shows no shame in stealing it even if I get up for 2 seconds. Every time I get up at night she moves right in and I have to move her every single time I come back. If she wasn't so darn cute I would be more upset with her using my (fairly expensive) pillow as her personal dog bed but for now I just keep on moving her.
