Fall Wreath

Since this is my first fall not surrounded by the New England Fall weather and the changing leaves, I'm feeling the need to decorate for fall more so than usual. Here is my first little fall project. I really like how it came out, but it took me waaay longer than I thought it was going to. It was a nice project for a rainy day watching movies though.

Here is what I used for this project:

  • Yarn
  • Styrofoam wreath
  • Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Different colored felt

First I wrapped the wreath with yarn

Using the felt, I made the flowers by first cutting circles in the felt, then cutting the circles into spirals. Rolling up the spiral gives the flower shape and hot gluing the bottom keeps it from unrolling. This is the time consuming part. So time consuming I didn't get any pictures.

Here is the final result. Since it rains so hard against our front door, I decided to hang it on the inside of our front door.
