Wednesdays with WIll: Play Hard, Crash Hard

Will is moving around a lot now and seems to know exactly where he shouldn't go. He will crawl as fast as he can towards the pantry, recycle bin, bathroom and any open baby gate. We can keep him fairly well contained in the living room but he has figured out a couple of weak spots. The first is our baby gate going out to the sun room. We got a gate with a dog door in it so the dogs can have their own space. Unfortunately, Will has figured out how to squeeze himself through. I tried really hard to get a pic of him actually going through but was not successful so here is Will after he got through... trucking it to the cart to take everything off the shelves.

The other weak spot is the baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. If you follow me on Instagram or on Facebook, you probably already saw this pic but it's a big deal for us. Our gate is a little too tall for our stairs so we haven't had it under tension while we figure out how to make it work so the door swings freely. Will figured out how to open the door and crawl right on up the stairs.

While there is a lot to play with and get into at home, one of our favorite things to do with Will is bring him to the park and put him in the swings. He loves it and it really brings out his waving skills.

All the playing really tires Will out and he will sleep in the oddest positions. He really likes the head down, butt up in the air pose but I recently caught this one, which looks rather uncomfortable.

We also apparently like putting Will in blue stripes. These pics are all on different days and while all shirts are different, they look surprisingly similar.
