Over the course of the last week, Will has gone from not sitting on his own at all, to sitting all by himself and playing with his toys in the upright position. This was an unexpected and fairly drastic change for me and I'm still adjusting... I definitely thought this would be a more gradual process. The picture on the left is from early last week at which point he was supporting himself with his hands and holding himself in a full sit for a couple of seconds at a time. The pic on the right was from yesterday and I finally took a picture after he had been sitting and playing with his block for about 10 minutes. Every once in awhile he loses his balance, hence the pillows, but each day that happens less and less and now he really only does it when he gets really excited or when he's reaching for a far away toy.
