New Living Room Rug

A few years ago we bought a rug out of the remnant section of Lowe's for about $80. We've been using it as our living room rug since then.

It's gone through the entirety of our first house renovation and the new puppy period of Zoe. Despite trying to clean it multiple times, some of the stains (like floor stain) would not come out. 

When we were at Garden Ridge a few weeks ago getting picture frames we checked out their rugs to see if we could find a replacement. After quite the effort getting it out of the pile of rugs, we finally left with this one.

We think it's quite the improvement over our old one. It's a little more cushy than the old one too so it it more comfortable to hang out on the floor (which we do quite a bit when we play with the dogs)

I also scotch guarded this rug really well so that we don't have to worry as much about stains. The only thing I don't love about this rug is that it's a little harder to vacuum since it has a thicker pile but it's definitely worth it.

The best part of this upgrade (besides the huge visual improvement) is that the upgrade was only $100!
