Family Gatherings I

It has been a busy couple of days. It feels like Thursday was weeks away and that is where we start. We said goodbye to Nate's mom and Tom, ran some errands, and then headed over to my Grandmother's house for the beginning of my family's festivities. We spent the evening reconnecting with family, BBQing it up, and coordinating for the next big event, the rehearsal and dinner (plus surprises).

The next day, we all met up to decorate the rehearsal dinner venue and low and behold, the TV we've been carrying around with us all summer finally came in handy. The surprise part of the dinner was that it was a combination celebration with a surprise birthday party for my Grandmother. To add to the surprise, my family had put together a slideshow of pics but they couldn't use the projector they were going to use. After some searching for some appropriate cords, we were able to hook up our TV to show them instead. It just go to show that you should always travel around with a large TV in your car!

The rehearsal dinner was very nice with great food, great people and a bunch of candy! Here are some pics from the night.
