New Beginnings

We've had a busy couple of months. Since we are transitioning into a new life with hopefully slightly fewer renovations (although there will be some) I decided to transition into a new blog. To catch everyone up, our house in Attleboro was on the market for about 2 days before we got an offer. I will spare you the details, but after a lot of back and forth and a lot of frustration, we finally closed on the house this past Monday. (My advice to people trying to sell your house, interview a lot of realtor's before picking one). We packed all of our stuff into an ABF truck which has been traveling down to Florida this past week, luckily without us having to drive it. We are currently staying with our super awesome friends and Nate will be flying down to Florida tomorrow to meet all of our stuff. After finishing up with work next week, I will fly down to Florida next Sunday.

Now for the new stuff. Nate and I found a new house in the historic part of Lakeland Florida. It was built in 1925, is 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and a pool (aka lots of space for people to visit wink wink). It currently needs some repairs, so after negotiating with the sellers, we are going to rent the house for the summer while the repairs are done and then buy it in October. It is a 10 min walk for Nate to get to Florida Southern College and it is a short walk to the center of town, lakes, walking, running and biking paths. Here are some pictures:

  1. Love the pictures of your new home. Can't wait to see it. Maybe in November we can stop by for a short visit. So happy for you both!
