Dining Room

The dining room is part of the large living space in our new house. Our old dining room table fits well in it with the leaf in it which is nice because we can finally have all of the chairs around the table comfortably.

We were also able to use our linen cabinet from our old house, seen here, as a hutch to hold all of our glasses. On the other side of the wall with the mirrors is the kitchen, and eventually we would like to take down part of it and put in a peninsula with a breakfast bar to open up the kitchen. We also want to replace the light and paint. Here is a picture of the dining room from the living room to give you an idea of how the room goes together.

On the right are french doors that open to the sun room . Even though the sun room does have a/c, the doors and windows provide an extra buffer for the heat which keeps these rooms cooler. I don't know if you can tell from this pic but there is a lot of space between the dining room and the back of the couch which I'm not quite sure what to do with or if I want to do anything with it. Time will tell on that one.
